NOVA and The Leonard Gelfand STEM Center at Case Western Reserve University are MAKING STUFF!
Hosted by technology expert David Pogue, NOVA’s groundbreaking series MAKING STUFF focuses on the personal qualities that underlie the process of invention — the visionary talent, sheer luck and dogged determination that turn a wild idea into a cutting-edge material.
The acclaimed series premiered its second season in October 2013 on PBS, investigating MAKING STUFF Wilder, Colder, Faster, and Safer. Episodes are available to stream for free online at http://www.pbs.org/nova/tech/making-more-stuff.
The Leonard Gelfand STEM Center has been selected as an official MAKING STUFF outreach site! NOVA is collaborating with 75 sites nationally to provide the material and media to “make stuff” colder, wilder, safer and faster through a series of projects that include hands-on activities and design challenges based on the four themes from MAKINGSTUFF.
We will offer the MAKING STUFF programming in a variety of venues to be announced on our web site.
