Description: Supported by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, Case Western Reserve University’s Leonard Gelfand STEM Center and Cuyahoga County Public Library is offering free to in-service, pre-service, and home school teachers a placed based workshop around Lake Science and Shipwrecks focusing on hands on activities connected to national and state science standards. Curriculum materials come from a variety of sources included Immersion Learning, Population Education, and more. Shipwrecks will be the keynote speaker Jim Paskert of Cleveland Underwater Explorer’s theme. Did you know that there may be as many as 2000+ shipwrecks in Lake Erie?
